Hans Banziger

Hans was born and raised in New Burg, New York and earned his MBA in Finance from the University of Houston. After serving four years in the Navy, Hans moved to Alaska to pursue a career in communications. This led him to his next career with NASA in the control room for the Apollo missions.
As RPA’s Founder and visionary leader, Hans Banziger is a pioneer in the retirement planning industry. He started RPA in Houston as an employee benefit planning company and in 1969, moved the headquarters to Falls Church, Virginia.
Known as a great strategist, Hans is credited with designing and implementing some of the most successful and beneficial retirement plans that lead the industry as both cost-effective and accurate. He’s led the way for RPA’s expansion in to new markets and continues to provide the vision and strategic point-of-view necessary to keep RPA moving forward.
In addition to directing and growing the fully integrated business, Hans advises on special projects and helps to educate RPA staff on industry best practices.
A Navy veteran of the Korean War, Hans has an MBA from the University of Houston. He also sits on advisory boards of several organizations in the Washington D.C. area.

Richard Banziger

President & CEO

Providing strategic direction is the focus for Richard, as CEO of Retirement Planners and Administrators. Since 1983, he has championed the advancement and expansion of the RPA brand and significantly positioned the company for its next generation of growth by executing a strong plan and vision that delivers results today while positioning RPA for future growth.

Richard’s extensive business development experience, collaborative leadership style, and operational expertise have him solidly leading RPA into the future. In addition to serving as CEO of RPA, Richard was involved in founding two successful businesses: Paybridge, a payroll company and Capstone, an investment advisory firm. As Co-Founder and Advisor, he has Board level involvement in the strategic growth and market direction of those companies.

Richard has a BS in Economics from James Madison University. He is involved in charitable causes in his community and sits on advisory boards of several organizations in the Washington D.C. area. In addition, Richard advises and invests in entrepreneurial start-ups.

MARK WITKOWSKI

Vice President

Originally from Mohnton, Pennsylvania (outside of Reading) I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in geography.  I moved to Northern Virginia to work at the US Geological Survey as a Physical Science Technician, and shortly thereafter found myself working at Retirement Planners for the next 28 years (as of 2021).  I hold the designations of Accredited Pension Administrator, Qualified Pension Administrator, Qualified 401(k) Plan Administrator, and Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent.  I have had many roles at Retirement Planners, met many wonderful people, and looking forward to another 20 years of change and excitement.

HEATHER SEVIER

Sr. Transition Specialist

Heather Sevier began managing client plan transitions for the RPA Client Relations Team in February of 2002. Since that time, in her capacity as our Senior Client Relations Manager, Heather has played an integral role in the emergence of RPA’s industry standing as one of the most efficient, and client friendly, customer relations team in the retirement plan industry. A 1996 honor graduate with a BA in Psychology from George Mason University, Heather’s skills in working with new RPA clients to help design retirement plans that meet the highest standards; that transition smoothly, and simplify the plan transition process to consume the least amount of time necessary for new clients and their advisors, have proven second to none. Prior to joining the RPA Team, Heather’s passion for golf found her working as a golf tournament organizer and coordinator for some very prestigious golf clubs in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Heather’s personal time is spent with her husband and 10-year-old daughter, supporting her daughter’s love of volleyball and horseback riding, while also serving as a senior leader for her daughter’s American Heritage Girls troop.

ALLAN GRESOCK

Director of Plan Compliance

Allan has been in the retirement plan compliance industry since February of 2000.   His work experience includes time working for a retirement trust for a trade association, a third party administration team at a CPA firm, and also working with a company specializing in third party administration work.   He has held a variety of positions, starting as an entry level distribution processor and moving his way up as a customer service representative, a compliance specialist and then into a pension administration role.  He now utilizes his knowledge in all facets of defined contribution plan compliance to manage and lead a team of experienced retirement plan professionals.  He has obtained both a QKA and QPA designations from the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries.

LIKES:  A big sports fan, especially of the NHL and NFL.  Also enjoys reading and cooking.

CRAIG BOYNTON

Sales Director

With over 28 years of experience, Craig has a proven track record as a retirement plan expert and advisor. He has been providing technical plan design and compliance consulting to plan sponsors, financial advisors and CPAs throughout the Mid‐Atlantic Region since starting his career. Craig is now a senior member of the sales consulting team at Retirement Planners and Administrators (RPA) out of Falls Church, VA. In this role, Craig works closely with brokers and advisors to design plans that meet the unique needs of each Plan Sponsor. Craig is a current member of ASPPA (American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries) and has earned his ASPPA designation of QKA (Qualified 401(k) Administrator). Craig earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Towson State University as a Political Science major in 1987.

BARBARA EICHENSER

Vice President of Finance

Barbara arrived on the scene at RPA in 2014 to establish an efficient and effective accounting and financial reporting system. She is currently responsible for all Human Resource, Accounting, Treasury and Financial reporting functions. With over 20 years of finance and accounting experience working in local government, public, private and international companies in a wide array of industries, she spent much of her career helping companies with system and process conversions, process improvements and consolidated financial statements.  Barbara lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and daughter. She spends her free time cheering for her Volleyball playing daughter, traveling, reading and volunteering.

Randy is an experienced Retirement Plan Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. Skilled in Retirement Planning, Risk Management, Financial Services, Financial Analysis, and Finance. Twenty-four years experienced as a Retirement Plan Wholesaler for John Hancock and Mass Mutual. Outstanding knowledge of all the Retirement Plan Record-keepers such as Principal, Voya, Hancock, Mass Mutual, Lincoln, American Funds, Fidelity, Vanguard to mention a few.
